Do I need a shotgun license in order to participate ?
No, The club holds a section 11.6 exemption certificate which enables someone without a license to shoot accompanied on the premises.
Do I need my own gun ?
No. We have guns at the club that you can use.
What days are available for shooting ?
We are open on Sundays from 10am until 2pm
My children would like to come along. Is that OK ?
Yes, children are welcome. Please remember that you will be fully responsible for your children while they are here.
Do I need to book in advance ?
Only if you are coming as part of a non-shooting group and have special requirements such as the need for one-to-one tuition. Otherwise you just need to turn up.
Can you accommodate large parties ?
We can accommodate groups of up to 20 beginners with no problem, or up to 70 seasoned shooters. If you have a larger group than that, please beforehand for advice.
What if we turn up and it's raining ?
We have a warm club house, with hot and cold refreshments. We are open in all weather, but please dress accordingly. Wellies are recommended on rainy days.
