OUR AIM
The Cotswold Clay Club was taken over in 2003 by Nick Phillips-Holt, who had the following aims:
- To provide good quality targets.
- Safe shooting environment.
- Friendly atmosphere of like minded people.
- Plenty of variety.
- Reduced waiting times.
- Affordable targets and tuition.
- Make clay target shooting accessible to everyone.
- Encourage young and new people into the sport.
- Create a shooting orientated social scene.
- Create an environment enjoyed by both male and female shooters.
So far we feel that we have achieved all these aims and are still continuing to improve, we are open to suggestions and positively encourage feedback.
- Approximately 1/3 of our shooters are ladies.
- Young shots are given the opportunity of a free membership.
- Introductory lessons encourage new people into the sport by ensuring early success at a reasonable price.
- Our prices are cheaper than many other grounds in the area
- Our targets change often.
- Members all take the time to talk to others not just "hello or goodbye".
- New stands added to reduce waiting times.
- Sporting, DTL and Sport Trap - over 100 different targets if you want them.
- Layouts designed to appeal to all abilities.
- We listen to our CUSTOMERS.
